OVERVIEW Texas Southern University is seeking an Executive Director of Admissions to lead admissions and enrollment operations within a higher education environment. Reporting to the Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management, this position oversees Undergraduate Admissions, Outreach, and international admissions activities while supporting transfer services. The role focuses on admissions strategy, enrollment management, and coordination of day-to-day operations that support student recruitment and institutional goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Plan, direct, and coordinate day-to-day admissions operations – Oversee Undergraduate Admissions activities – Lead Outreach initiatives connected to admissions and enrollment – Manage international admissions processes – Assist in transfer services operations – Support enrollment management strategies and objectives – Coordinate recruitment strategies for prospective students – Collaborate with university stakeholders on admissions and enrollment efforts – Ensure effective management of admissions operations REQUIREMENTS – Experience in higher education admissions – Knowledge of international student admission requirements – Knowledge of SEVIS – Experience related to admissions, enrollment, and operations management WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Admissions leadership plays a critical role in shaping the student experience and supporting institutional enrollment goals in higher education.
