OVERVIEW The International Scholar Outreach Coordinator supports the Office of International Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. This role focuses on assisting international scholars through outreach, programming, and cross-cultural exchange initiatives that strengthen the global university community. The position contributes to academic and global engagement efforts by helping scholars navigate university systems, access resources, and adjust to life in Colorado and abroad. The Office of International Affairs also supports international student recruitment, educational partnerships, research collaborations, and global learning opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support international scholars through outreach and programming – Coordinate cross-cultural exchange opportunities for scholars – Provide resources that help scholars navigate university systems – Assist scholars with adjusting to life in Colorado and abroad – Contribute to initiatives connected to global educational partnerships – Support activities within the Office of International Affairs – Engage with programs connected to academic and global learning opportunities – Help strengthen support services for international scholars at the university REQUIREMENTS – Experience or interest in supporting international scholars – Ability to assist with programming and outreach activities – Interest in cross-cultural exchange and global engagement – Ability to help scholars navigate university systems and resources – Commitment to supporting academic and international affairs initiatives WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International scholars contribute to the academic, cultural, and research environment of a university community.
