OVERVIEW Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Career Development Advisor based in Daytona Beach, Florida. This role within the Center for Career and Professional Development focuses on providing career advising and development support for aerospace engineering and international students. The position involves helping students build career readiness skills, connect with internships and employment opportunities, and engage with employers and alumni. The advisor also contributes to career programming, recruitment activities, and collaborative initiatives across the university. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide career advising and development support to students – Support aerospace engineering and international students with career readiness preparation – Help students connect with internships and employment opportunities – Conduct workshops related to career development – Support employer engagement initiatives – Assist with internship and co-op support activities – Collaborate with faculty and alumni – Support career programming and recruitment events REQUIREMENTS – Experience or ability to provide career advising and development support – Ability to support aerospace engineering and international students – Ability to assist with workshops, employer engagement, and recruitment events – Ability to collaborate with faculty and alumni – Ability to support internship and co-op activities WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Career development professionals play an important role in helping students transition from university study to professional opportunities.
