OVERVIEW American University is seeking an Assistant Director International Admissions in Washington, District of Columbia. This role supports international admissions processes by serving as a key contact between shorelight Boston Office, the International Accelerator Program, the American Collegiate Program, and the International Student and Scholar Services office regarding undergraduate applicants. The position focuses on evaluating international academic credentials, determining admissibility for applicants, coordinating policy reviews, maintaining student records, and collaborating with multiple university offices and shorelight staff. The role contributes to the university admissions process and supports the experience of each international student throughout the admissions program.
