OVERVIEW The University of Kentucky seeks an Associate Vice President for Global Engagement to serve as the institution’s senior international officer. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, this leadership role provides strategic and operational direction for the university’s global engagement efforts and oversees the University of Kentucky International Center (UKIC). Reporting to the Vice President for Student Success, the position focuses on advancing internationalization, supporting student success, strengthening research collaboration, and expanding the university’s global impact. The role requires a collaborative and student-centered leader who can guide institutional strategy while managing complex international partnerships and programs. The Associate Vice President will represent the university in national and international settings and provide guidance on global trends and emerging issues in international education.
