OVERVIEW New Mexico Highlands University is seeking an Administrative Aide III to support the International Education Center in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The department provides services for international students throughout the student visa process, including admission, recruitment, and advisement. This role supports daily administrative operations while assisting with student-focused activities and office coordination. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist with international student orientation and activities – Support application processing in Slate – Prepare and manage immigration-related forms – Assist with recruitment and advisement materials – Provide support for the International Club – Answer phones and respond to inquiries – Maintain filing systems and databases – Prepare reports for the department – Organize SharePoint and OneDrive systems – Support the department director with administrative tasks REQUIREMENTS – Experience supporting administrative office functions – Ability to manage databases, filing systems, and reports – Ability to respond to inquiries and support office communications – Ability to assist with student services and activities – Familiarity with application processing systems such as Slate – Ability to support recruitment and advisement efforts – Organizational skills for managing SharePoint and OneDrive systems WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position contributes to the success of international education services by helping international students navigate important processes related to enrollment and student support.
