OVERVIEW California Baptist University is seeking a Coordinator of Global Community to support global engagement initiatives across the campus. The role focuses on coordinating programs, managing partner relationships, supporting international visitors, and overseeing events connected to global community development. This position also contributes to partnership development efforts and provides operational support for delegations, specialty programs, and research scholar activities. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with responsibilities that involve coordinating across university departments and external organizations. Candidates with experience managing programs and supporting campus events in a higher education environment may be well suited for this opportunity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Managing and overseeing global engagement programs and partner development initiatives – Coordinating campuswide programs and events – Supporting delegations, campus events, and related campus visits – Serving as a point of contact for external partners and university departments – Supporting specialty programs and summer camps – Coordinating logistics for partner programs and research scholars – Managing budgets connected to programs and events – Supporting international visitors and student cohorts – Leading partnership development efforts – Assisting with coordinating activities connected to global programs across the campus REQUIREMENTS – Bachelor’s degree required – Master’s degree preferred – Ability to support and coordinate multiple programs and events – Experience or capability in managing logistics and administrative responsibilities – Strong communication and coordinating skills for working with campus departments and external partners – Ability to manage budgets and support development initiatives WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role contributes to the university’s global engagement strategy by helping create meaningful connections between the campus community and international partners.
