OVERVIEW The Admissions Officer (Undergraduate Admissions) at Johns Hopkins University plays a central role in recruiting and evaluating applicants for first-year and transfer admission. Working within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, this position manages assigned domestic and/or international territories and represents the university to prospective students and school partners. The role combines strategic outreach, holistic application review, and collaboration on broader admissions initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Recruit prospective undergraduate students for first-year and transfer admission across assigned domestic and/or international territories. – Conduct in-person and virtual recruitment activities to engage prospective students and families. – Review and evaluate applications as part of the undergraduate admissions process. – Build and maintain relationships with secondary schools and school counselors. – Support undergraduate admissions programming and events. – Contribute to office-wide projects, including international recruitment planning. – Participate in initiatives related to access and diversity within the admissions process.
