OVERVIEW Lindenwood University is seeking a Strategist, Study Abroad Programs within the Office of Careers, Internships, and Achievement (CIA). This role focuses on developing, implementing, assessing, and improving international education initiatives including study abroad, student exchange, global service learning, and global internships. The position supports students, collaborates with faculty and partner organizations, and contributes to the growth of international opportunities across the university. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop, implement, assess, and improve international education programs – Support study abroad, international student exchange, global service learning, and global internships – Collaborate with partnering organizations, faculty, staff, and students – Promote, grow, and assess study abroad opportunities – Oversee study abroad applications and approvals – Support immigration and compliance processes – Coordinate orientations and debriefings – Develop international education opportunities with providers and consortia – Support outbound students with passport and visa acquisition – Promote study abroad programs – Assist with assessment and student advising REQUIREMENTS – Experience supporting or developing international education programs – Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and partner organizations – Knowledge of study abroad processes and student exchange programming – Ability to support immigration and compliance processes – Experience coordinating orientations, advising, or student support activities – Ability to assist students with passport and visa acquisition WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International education programs help students expand academic, professional, and cultural understanding through study abroad and student exchange experiences.
