OVERVIEW The Levy Economics Institute of Bard College is seeking a Recruitment and Communications Coordinator to support graduate recruitment efforts and promote the Institute’s research activities and Master’s degree programs in Economic Theory and Policy. This position combines communications, admissions outreach, and applicant engagement responsibilities while coordinating with multiple campus offices. The role also supports public visibility through social media, newsletters, website content, and graduate recruitment events. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support graduate recruitment for Master’s degree programs in Economic Theory and Policy – Publicize the Institute’s research activities and academic programs – Conduct admissions outreach activities – Organize and support applicant webinars – Coordinate recruiting schedules – Serve as a contact for incoming students – Coordinate with campus offices, including international student services – Attend graduate school fairs – Manage communications initiatives – Oversee social media content and outreach – Coordinate newsletters – Manage website content updates REQUIREMENTS – Experience or interest in communications and graduate recruitment – Ability to coordinate admissions-related activities – Strong organizational skills for managing recruiting schedules and outreach – Ability to work with campus offices and incoming students – Capacity to manage social media, newsletters, and website content – Ability to represent the institute at graduate school fairs and applicant events WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports the visibility and growth of graduate programs while helping prospective students navigate the admissions and applicant process.
