OVERVIEW The Study Abroad Enrollment Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison supports student participation in study abroad and domestic study away programs through enrollment coordination, advising, and academic record management. This role works within International Academic Programs (IAP), part of The International Division, which administers more than 260 programs. The position focuses on managing application and enrollment processes while supporting student academic progress and institutional credit procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide direct services and advising to student participants in study abroad and domestic study away programs – Review applications and verify student eligibility for programs – Manage student acceptances and enrollment processes – Monitor completion of required forms and activities – Manage evaluation of student program courses for UW-Madison credit – Work with the Office of the Registrar to verify and post courses, credit, and grades completed on study abroad programs – Process academic records related to student participation – Coordinate course equivalents and credit conversions – Maintain accurate student records – Participate in outreach activities connected to study abroad programs – Support office administration within International Academic Programs REQUIREMENTS – Experience managing enrollment processes – Ability to advise student participants – Experience processing academic records – Ability to coordinate course equivalents and credit conversions – Ability to maintain detailed student records – Experience supporting outreach activities and office administration – Ability to work with academic and registrar-related processes involving credit and grades WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays an important role in helping student participants successfully navigate study abroad opportunities and academic requirements.
