OVERVIEW Fairfield University is seeking a Director for the Global Fairfield office to support leadership initiatives connected to study abroad programming and international student services. Reporting as part of the Global Fairfield leadership team, this role assists with strategic priorities, operational management, and partnership development. The position also oversees daily office functions related to international services and student support while contributing to broader global engagement efforts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist the Associate Vice Provost Global Strategy in developing and implementing strategic priorities – Support study abroad programming initiatives – Oversee international student services operations – Manage the day-to-day operations of the Fairfield Campus Office – Supervise study abroad and international student staff – Manage exchange partnerships and partner relations – Assist with implementation of new partnership initiatives – Interpret immigration regulations related to international students – Support international students throughout their experience – Oversee TerraDotta and Workday operations – Compile Open Doors reports – Represent Global Fairfield during partner visits and professional conferences REQUIREMENTS – Experience supporting study abroad programming – Experience with international student services – Ability to manage operational and administrative services – Knowledge of immigration regulations interpretation – Experience overseeing staff and partner relations – Familiarity with TerraDotta and Workday operations – Ability to compile reports and support institutional reporting processes – Strong communication and representation skills for professional conferences and partner engagement WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays an important role in supporting international students and advancing global engagement initiatives at Fairfield University.
