OVERVIEW Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking a Director Of Undergraduate Recruitment to provide leadership for undergraduate recruitment operations and support university enrollment goals. Reporting to the Executive Director of Admissions, this role oversees recruitment strategy, outreach initiatives, and cross-campus collaboration. The position also supervises teams focused on high school outreach, transfer services, and international admissions while supporting recruitment efforts for diverse student populations, including international students. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide leadership for the undergraduate student recruitment team – Manage recruitment efforts to support university enrollment goals – Lead, supervise, and develop the Recruitment team – Oversee the High School team, Transfer Services team, and Assistant Director of International Admissions – Plan and execute outreach, recruitment, and yield management initiatives – Provide strategic leadership for undergraduate recruitment operations – Support institutional recruitment strategy and cross-campus collaboration – Develop recruitment outreach and strategic partnerships – Support admissions leadership and strategic planning – Oversee recruitment initiatives for international students, out-of-state students, veterans, transfer students, and adult learners – Collaborate with marketing and academic affairs to support enrollment goals – Represent the university at recruitment events REQUIREMENTS – Leadership experience related to undergraduate recruitment and admissions – Experience managing recruitment initiatives and enrollment-focused strategies – Ability to supervise and develop recruitment teams – Experience collaborating across departments and with external partners – Knowledge of recruitment outreach, admissions, and yield management initiatives – Ability to support strategic planning and university enrollment goals WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays an important role in supporting institutional enrollment objectives through strategic recruitment and admissions leadership.
