OVERVIEW The Director of Student Opportunity at the University of Warwick is a senior leadership role focused on shaping and delivering an ambitious co-curricular portfolio that supports student success. The position brings together employability, skills development, volunteering, and international experiences under a single strategic vision. Based in Coventry, this role plays a central part in advancing Warwick’s global outlook and commitment to student opportunity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide strategic leadership for an ambitious portfolio of co-curricular provision. – Drive initiatives that enhance student employability and skills development. – Lead and support volunteering opportunities that contribute to student development and engagement. – Oversee international experiences that enrich student learning and global awareness. – Deliver strategic leadership across Careers services. – Lead Study Abroad and Student Mobility activity. – Guide Employer Engagement and Volunteering functions. – Oversee major co-curricular programmes across the institution. – Lead the University’s approach to internationalisation, global learning, and mobility.
