OVERVIEW This senior role sits at the centre of the University of Surrey’s international growth agenda, combining leadership, strategy, and delivery across global markets. As Head of International Student Recruitment (Marketing), you will shape and deliver an integrated approach that connects international marketing, conversion activity, and insight-led decision-making. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that campaigns align with institutional priorities and deliver sustainable enrolment outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Shape and deliver a globally integrated international marketing and conversion strategy – Lead an international marketing team – Work closely with digital, CRM and admissions colleagues – Deliver insight-led campaigns across international markets – Set international marketing strategy – Lead global marketing campaigns – Drive enquiry-to-enrolment performance – Use analytics to inform investment decisions – Manage external agencies – Advise senior leadership on international market trends REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International student recruitment is a key driver of institutional success, and this role provides leadership at a moment of ongoing global competition and change.
