The University of Reading seeks to appoint an outstanding academic leader as Joint Institute Vice-Dean for its Tianjin University–University of Reading: Henley International Institute, located in Hainan, China. The role includes responsibility for establishing and leading the Joint Institute, overseeing academic delivery, recruiting staff, shaping operations, and ensuring financial sustainability. The post-holder will also serve as Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor with responsibility for implementing the University’s Internationalisation and Global Engagement strategy in East Asia, acting as the University’s most senior representative in the region and leading partnerships across China and East Asia.
