OVERVIEW The Admissions Officer role at Bournemouth University sits within the central Admissions team in Academic Services and plays a key role in supporting the University’s admissions operations. This position focuses on delivering an efficient, accurate, and high-quality admissions service for applicants across multiple levels of study. The role involves working with both UK and international applicants and contributes directly to fair and consistent admissions decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assess and process applications for undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research programmes. – Support the delivery of an efficient and high-quality admissions service across the University. – Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant records within admissions systems. – Communicate with applicants to support the progression of their applications. – Liaise with academic departments regarding applications and admissions decisions. – Apply admissions decisions consistently in line with University policies. – Ensure admissions processes comply with relevant sector regulations.
