OVERVIEW The Regional Manager South Asia role at Liverpool John Moores University sits within the International Recruitment Team and reports to the Head of International Recruitment. The position plays a key part in supporting the university’s internationalisation strategy by strengthening student recruitment activity and strategic engagement across South Asia. It is a senior-facing role that balances strategic planning with hands-on delivery and requires a high level of flexibility, including significant international travel. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Recruit international students in support of the university’s internationalisation strategy – Develop recruitment policy and strategy frameworks – Deliver recruitment-related services to internal stakeholders – Deliver recruitment-related services to external stakeholders REQUIREMENTS – Ability to undertake regular international travel – Willingness to spend extended periods overseas – Flexibility to work out of hours – Availability to work weekends in the UK and abroad WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International student recruitment is central to the global profile, cultural diversity, and financial sustainability of UK universities.
