OVERVIEW The Head of International Recruitment at Edinburgh Napier University is a senior leadership role created to support ambitious global growth plans. Based in Sighthill, Scotland, this position provides strategic direction for the University’s international recruitment activity across multiple markets. The role combines high-level strategy with operational leadership and requires regular engagement with international partners and stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the development and delivery of the University’s international recruitment strategy. – Provide leadership and management for a globally dispersed international recruitment team. – Oversee international recruitment budgets and ensure effective use of resources. – Strengthen and manage global agent networks to support student recruitment objectives. – Develop and maintain international partnerships that support recruitment and broader institutional goals. – Support transnational education initiatives and global online programmes. – Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to advance international recruitment priorities. – Undertake significant international travel in support of recruitment, partnerships, and representation. REQUIREMENTS – Experience as a strategic leader within an international or globally focused context. – Ability to lead and manage a team that is geographically dispersed. – Willingness and capacity to undertake significant international travel. – Capability to operate at a senior level with internal and external stakeholders.
