OVERVIEW Brunel University London is seeking a Global Engagement Coordinator to join the Global Engagement Office. The role supports the university’s international strategy through coordination of global partnerships, student mobility initiatives, summer programmes, and engagement with international stakeholders. This position is suited to an organised and proactive professional with an interest in global engagement and international higher education activities. The Global Engagement Coordinator will contribute to a wide range of operational and administrative activities that support international collaboration and institutional engagement. The role involves working with colleagues, external organisations, and international partners to help maintain effective global partnerships and deliver key international activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the delivery of the university’s international strategy – Contribute to the development of global partnerships – Support student mobility opportunities – Coordinate summer school activities – Support partnership approval processes – Maintain partnership databases – Arrange committees and related meetings – Organise inward international visits – Organise outward international visits – Undertake market research activities – Liaise with external organisations – Liaise with international partners – Support engagement with the university’s worldwide community REQUIREMENTS – Organised approach to work – Proactive working style – Internationally minded outlook – Ability to support coordination of international activities – Ability to work with external organisations and international partners – Interest in global engagement and international initiatives WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role contributes to the development of international collaboration and institutional engagement within higher education.
