OVERVIEW UCAS is seeking an International Development Manager for a UK-based hybrid role in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The position focuses on building and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders across international admissions, recruitment and marketing functions within higher education providers. Acting as a key liaison between UCAS and the international higher education community, the role supports engagement with universities, colleges and sector bodies to strengthen understanding of the evolving international recruitment landscape. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and maintain strategic and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across international admissions, recruitment and marketing functions – Act as the principal liaison between ucas and the international higher education community – Champion the needs, challenges and ambitions of the sector – Ensure ucas maintains a strong understanding of the evolving international recruitment landscape – Drive engagement with universities, colleges and sector bodies – Support stakeholders in maximising the value of ucas products, services and support – Contribute to sustainable international student recruitment and enrolment objectives REQUIREMENTS – Ability to develop and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships – Understanding of international admissions and recruitment within higher education – Ability to engage with universities, colleges and sector bodies – Knowledge of the international higher education environment – Ability to support engagement across marketing and recruitment functions – UK based availability for a hybrid role in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International student recruitment remains an important part of the higher education sector, requiring strong collaboration between institutions and organisations supporting admissions and recruitment activity.
