OVERVIEW The University of Salford is recruiting a Home Office Compliance Info Officer based in Salford, England. This role supports the administration and co-ordination activities connected to the student journey while helping the university meet Home Office compliance obligations linked to Student Visa and Skilled Worker sponsor guidance. The officer will work closely with the Home Office Compliance Senior Information Officer and other team members. The position involves providing information and compliance support to staff and students, managing reports, and carrying out quality assurance activity related to records and documentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Work closely with the Home Office Compliance Senior Information Officer and other Home Office Compliance Information Officer colleagues – Undertake co-ordination of administrative duties that support the student journey – Help fulfil university obligations under Student Visa and Skilled Worker sponsor guidance – Deliver Home Office compliance advice to staff and students – Run relevant data reports – Carry out quality assurance checks on documents – Review documents stored for Skilled Workers – Review documents stored for Student Visa holders – Support compliance processes for other international and non-UK, non-Irish students REQUIREMENTS – Ability to undertake administrative and co-ordination duties – Ability to provide compliance information and advice to staff and students – Experience or capability in running data reports – Ability to complete quality assurance checks on documentation – Understanding of Student Visa and Skilled Worker sponsor guidance – Ability to work collaboratively with officer colleagues and wider teams WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports institutional compliance responsibilities that are essential for international student and skilled worker sponsorship activity.
