OVERVIEW The Lead International Student Administrator role sits within the University of Cambridge’s International Student Office and focuses on the delivery of specialist services for international students and student mobility activity. As one of two leads in student immigration compliance, the post plays a central role in ensuring the University meets its responsibilities under UK Home Office regulations. The position combines regulatory oversight, advisory work, people management, and service development within a complex and high-profile international education environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide leadership in student immigration compliance, including managing systems and procedures to fulfil Home Office requirements. – Advise applicants, students, and University staff on immigration-related matters. – Contribute to the delivery of wider international student support services. – Administer aspects of student mobility activity within the International Student Office. – Undertake line management responsibilities within the team. – Support continuous improvement in service delivery.
