OVERVIEW The Global Opportunities Support Officer (Inbound) plays a central role in enabling student mobility at the University of Exeter. Working within the Global Opportunities team, this position focuses on inbound mobility and provides practical, responsive support to students accessing global opportunities. The role is full time, permanent, and offers hybrid working arrangements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide dedicated support for inbound student mobility, including exchange and direct enrol programmes – Support the recruitment of inbound students to global opportunities – Offer guidance and ongoing support to students before, during, and after their placement – Act as a first point of contact for students, staff, and external stakeholders – Support the delivery and administration of Global Opportunity programmes REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role is essential to ensuring that inbound students experience a well-supported and positive transition into a global learning environment. By coordinating support and acting as a key contact, the postholder helps strengthen international partnerships and enhances opportunities for students to engage in mobility experiences. Effective support in this area contributes directly to the success and reputation of global programmes.
