OVERVIEW The International Student Administrator role sits within the International Student Office at the University of Cambridge and focuses on supporting international students throughout their academic journey. The position combines student-facing support with administrative responsibilities linked to immigration, mobility programmes, and funding. It contributes directly to the smooth operation of services that enable international students to study and participate fully in university life. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide support in relation to visa advice for international students – Assist with immigration compliance activities – Support student mobility programmes, including the Turing Scheme – Administer processes for visiting students – Support the administration of funding awards for international students – Contribute to pre-arrival and post-arrival support for international students – Contribute to the effective running of the International Student Office REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International students rely on accurate guidance and well-managed processes to navigate complex immigration and mobility requirements. This role helps ensure that institutional obligations are met while students receive consistent and timely support.
