OVERVIEW The Educational Partnerships Institutional Liaison Manager (ILM) at Oxford Brookes University sits at the heart of the institution’s international growth strategy. This role supports the expansion of transnational education by turning strategic ambition into operational reality through effective global partnerships. Working within the Educational Partnerships team at a key stage of development, the postholder contributes to sustainable international engagement while safeguarding academic standards and the student experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of global educational partnerships – Translate the University’s transnational education ambitions into practical and sustainable partnership activity – Manage the full lifecycle of educational partnerships, from development through to ongoing review – Ensure academic quality across partnership provision – Ensure compliance with UK and international regulatory frameworks – Support programme validation and review processes linked to partner delivery – Advise on regulatory requirements affecting international and transnational education – Facilitate high-level collaboration with international partner institutions – Contribute to a strong and consistent student experience across partner programmes REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS As universities increasingly operate across borders, strong governance and relationship management are essential to maintaining academic integrity and institutional reputation.
