OVERVIEW The International Student Pathway Coach supports prospective and enrolled international students through the admissions, advising, and onboarding process, with a particular focus on F-1 and M-1 student populations. This role operates at the intersection of immigration compliance, academic advising, and student success within a community college setting. The position also collaborates broadly across campus to ensure coordinated services for international and other non-immigrant students. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide pre-admission advising, outreach, and support to prospective students, with an emphasis on F-1 and M-1 international students. – Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the institution. – Advise students on SEVIS and SEVP regulations. – Assist with international admissions documentation. – Create and manage I-20 forms for eligible students. – Provide academic advising and coaching to international students. – Support international student recruitment activities. – Assist with orientation, onboarding, and programming for international students. – Collaborate across campus to support international, refugee, asylee, and other non-immigrant student populations.
