OVERVIEW The International Scholar Advising Specialist role focuses on providing essential advising support to international faculty, staff, and scholars at a major U.S. research university. Based at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, this position works closely with both international populations and their host or employing departments on immigration- and visa-related matters. The role also contributes to broader institutional initiatives that support the university’s international academic community.
