OVERVIEW The Director of Global Partnerships & Initiatives provides strategic and operational leadership for international engagement at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This role is responsible for advancing the university’s global priorities through partnerships, programs, and high-level coordination across academic and institutional stakeholders. The position plays a central role in strengthening the university’s international presence and advising senior leadership on global initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide strategic and operational leadership for international engagement across the university – Expand and manage international partnerships with academic and institutional partners – Support international student enrollment through global initiatives and collaborations – Manage global agreements and oversee related processes – Coordinate international delegations and strategic international events – Advise senior leadership on global initiatives and international education priorities – Work closely with internal and external partners to advance the university’s global profile REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Global engagement is essential to a university’s academic mission, research impact, and international reputation.
