OVERVIEW Indiana Tech is seeking an International Admissions Counselor to support the full international admissions and international recruitment cycle for undergraduate and graduate programs. This role focuses on advising international students, evaluating applications and financial documentation, supporting enrollment growth, and maintaining compliance responsibilities related to international admissions. The position also contributes to global partnerships and collaborates with campus and external stakeholders to support student success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Drive the full international recruitment and admissions cycle for undergraduate and graduate programs – Recruit and advise prospective international students – Evaluate applications and financial documentation – Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) – Maintain SEVIS compliance – Issue I-20 documents – Coordinate orientation and transition support for students – Develop global partnerships – Participate in domestic and international recruitment travel – Collaborate with partner institutions, coaches, students, and campus colleagues – Support international enrollment growth and student success REQUIREMENTS – Ability to support international admissions processes – Ability to advise international students – Ability to evaluate applications and financial documentation – Ability to maintain SEVIS compliance – Ability to serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) – Ability to participate in domestic and international recruitment travel – Ability to collaborate with partner institutions and campus colleagues WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International admissions professionals play an important role in helping institutions attract and support international students throughout the admissions and enrollment process. This position contributes to recruitment, student transition support, compliance, and global partnerships that strengthen the international presence of the institution and enhance the student experience.
