### About the Role
The International Relations Office (IRO) at Imperial College London is seeking a motivated individual for the role of International Relations Office Assistant. This position involves supporting the efficient operation of the office and assisting with the delivery of high-profile events and programmes.
### Responsibilities
You will join the IRO, a dynamic and high-profile central unit responsible for fostering Imperial’s international engagements with academic partners and overseas governments. Your role will entail:
– Providing administrative support to the IRO team.
– Liaising with staff and students across the university using excellent communication skills.
– Showing enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
– Engaging with various tasks flexibly within a 14-16 person team.
– Performing a wide range of administrative tasks.
This position offers invaluable experience in international relations administration within one of the UK’s most internationally-oriented universities.
### Requirements
– Experience in a customer service role.
– Initiative and enthusiasm for assisting in the operations of a busy office.
– Professionalism while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
– Proactive approach to work and ability to meet deadlines.
– Confidence in collaborating with colleagues of varying seniority both within and outside Imperial.
