To support this strategy, the University is seeking an experienced professional to manage activities in specific regions. Reporting to the Head of Global Recruitment and Sales, the International Regional Manager will be part of the International Student Recruitment team, responsible for developing and executing regional engagement strategies to enhance Aston University’s reputation and meet recruitment and income targets. The role will involve leading the development and implementation of strategies and plans for the designated regions, managing a regional team, including overseas colleagues, and extensive overseas travel. The ideal candidate will have a degree and a proven track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced sales or business environment. They will possess extensive experience in building external networks, organizing events, or managing projects in a diverse organization, preferably in the international education sector. A data-driven and target-oriented individual, the candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing growth strategies in the designated markets. Customer focus and efficient process management are also key requirements for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. They must be skilled in building and managing relationships with various stakeholders. Collaboration with international teams, marketing, recruitment, and communication departments, as well as other university departments, is crucial.
