The International Recruitment Coordinator coordinates the delivery of student recruitment strategies and programs to attract international students to The University of Adelaide. This role ensures participation in local programs and events and build relationships with education agents, partners, high schools, and stakeholders, with the overall goal to build The University of Adelaide’s profile in the regions. We are seeking applicants with student recruitment and event management skills to come and join the team! Due to the nature of this role, travel (both domestically and international), and working outside of the standard hours will be required at times. To be successful you will need: Demonstrated effective marketing and recruitment skills, preferably in the area of international education, in particular the ability to meet recruitment targets consistently over a sustained period in a competitive environment. High level planning, problem solving and organisational skills and an ability to co-ordinate events, and manage competing deadlines. Can-do attitude including proven interpersonal and liaison skills in building relationships which deliver results with stakeholders, both within and external to the University, including government agencies, agents, prospective students, their parents, education and other business partners. Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills including experience in presenting to groups in a professional environment and strong attention to detail, particularly related to marketing or student recruitment activities. Proven ability in developing and executing innovative recruitment activities, including use of social media in recruitment campaigns, displaying a cutting-edge and non-traditional approach, and ensuring the organisation stands out from its competitors.
