Are you willing to relocate to Sydney or Auckland? GAV is seeking International Program Coordinators to assist with global program planning and internship placements. We are headquartered in Sydney, Australia with a USA office in Chicago. Our team works with universities to create customized international programs in various academic fields across Asia Pacific, Europe, North and South America. About the Role: International Programs Coordinator Internship Placements: Manage the internship placement process for students Engage with host companies to cultivate relationships Ensure students meet their required hours by communicating with host companies Collaborate with external teams on necessary paperwork (Overseas Studies for CPT, in-country migration agents, etc.) Research potential corporate partners Program Administration: Assist the Director in planning on-the-ground logistics for international programs Coordinate with local suppliers for housing, transport, activities, and meals Communicate with Resident Directors and local staff while students are on site Maintain accurate records for all students in assigned programs Collaborate with universities and students on program information Track expenditures, student information, payment details, and travel documents Conduct information sessions and attend university events to promote programs Manage all program payments Student Relations & Program Management: Arrange placement interviews with students participating in internship programs Offer professional development assistance throughout students’ internships Provide weekly reports on students’ progress on site Travel to international locations to oversee programs Please send your resume and cover letter to Rika Olson at rika@globalacademicventures.com to be considered for the role. Background, skills, and interests: Undergraduate degree in Education Management, Travel & Tourism, Social Sciences, International Relations, or International Education Experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects Self-starter and multitasker with efficient time management skills Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating high-quality study abroad programs Preference for experience living internationally Preference for experience working with university students Available to travel and stay abroad for the duration of the program
