Department: The International Business Development (IBD) team is a part of the Marketing and Student Recruitment department and is located within the Communications and External Relations Section. The IBD Team is responsible for organizing various international engagement and business development activities, which include managing sponsors, establishing progression link partnerships, coordinating international visits and delegations, recruiting students for study abroad programs, and creating customized short courses and summer programs. Duties of the Role: We have an exciting new opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic International Business Development Officer to contribute to the growth of our bespoke summer and short-term programs. In collaboration with university colleagues and international partners, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing, recruitment, and business development plans aimed at significantly increasing the revenue generated through these programs. This will involve creating business plans, conducting market analysis, determining program costs and content, and managing program launch and implementation. Skills and qualifications required: The ideal candidate should possess a degree or equivalent qualification and have relevant administrative experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong administrative and financial management abilities, are essential. The candidate should also be accustomed to handling multiple priorities and working within tight deadlines. A comprehensive understanding of Study Abroad programs and the competitive international education landscape is required. Additionally, flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis is expected, and some international travel may be necessary.
