Academic Level C (Head of Entrepreneurship) plays an integral role in our academic team, contributing to the development and delivery of Entrepreneurship courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. This position also involves supporting the growth of learning and teaching as well as administrative functions. As the Academic Level C (Head of Entrepreneurship), you will provide leadership in designing and delivering courses, ensuring high-quality teaching, industry engagement, scholarship, and support for the Institute and students through academic administration and course coordination. To qualify for this role, you must be a member of LCI Melbourne’s academic and administrative staff with proven educational, research, and professional experience. You should also have a demonstrated understanding of contemporary global trends in Entrepreneurship and the ability to incorporate innovative teaching, learning, and professional practices. Key requirements for this position include a management, commerce, and/or business qualification at the doctoral degree level or equivalent professional experience. Additionally, you must possess highly engaged industry experience in a senior professional or managerial role, with the ability to network and collaborate with cultural and creative industries. Leadership experience in higher education, including at least 5 years of course coordination, is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, alignment with the values of the LCI Education network, and the ability to lead, collaborate, and consult effectively in a teamwork environment are also important. Previous pedagogical leadership and contributions to higher education learning, innovative teaching content, scholarship, course development, and delivery in management, commerce, and creative arts are expected.
