OVERVIEW The Senior International Program Coordinator is a full-time role based at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, supporting faculty-directed international programming. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of International Programs & Partnerships, this position provides leadership and essential operational services across a portfolio of study abroad and international initiatives. The role combines program management, partnership coordination, and strategic support for the university’s broader internationalization goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Manage portfolios of faculty-directed study abroad and international programs. – Coordinate with international partner institutions and organizations. – Oversee program-related contracts and financial processes. – Lead pre-departure preparation activities and risk management processes for international programs. – Support efforts related to curriculum internationalization. – Supervise student workers involved in international programming. – Contribute to the university’s overall internationalization strategy.
