OVERVIEW Tufts Global Education supports international academic and experiential learning opportunities for students across the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. The Assistant Director, Tufts Global Education, External Programs oversees student participation in external study abroad programs and contributes to student advising, enrollment management, and global partnerships. This role supports students preparing to study abroad while helping manage program processes, transfer credits, and outreach initiatives. The position also collaborates with external program partners and supports events that connect students with global education opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Oversee student participation in external study abroad programs – Advise students preparing to go abroad – Manage transfer credits from study abroad programs – Organize study abroad fairs and events with external program partners – Support global partnerships – Support enrollment management activities – Support student outreach initiatives – Contribute to international academic and experiential learning opportunities across the university REQUIREMENTS – Experience supporting study abroad or global education programs – Ability to advise students preparing to study abroad – Ability to manage transfer credit processes – Experience coordinating events and working with external program partners – Ability to support enrollment management and student outreach activities – Interest in international education and experiential learning WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position helps students access meaningful global learning opportunities that support academic and personal development.
