About the role:
We are looking for a Deputy Director to join the GW-SHIFT (Great Western Supercluster of Hydrogen Innovation for Future Technologies) program at the University of Bath. This program focuses on sustainable hydrogen energy and will run for four years starting from 1st January 2024. As the Deputy Director, you will be responsible for collaborating with academic, civic, and industry partners in the Southwest of England and South Wales to implement a regional impact program for low carbon hydrogen. You will work closely with Prof Tim Mays (Co-Director and Line Manager) and Prof Xiaohong Li (Co-Director) at the University of Exeter. You will have the opportunity to work with support staff on other hydrogen projects in the new Hydrogen Support Hub at the main Bath campus. This position is offered on a part-time basis of 21.9 hours per week with an expected end date of 31st December 2027.
