OVERVIEW Northern Essex Community College is seeking an Associate Director of Lawrence Campus and Community Engagement to support campus and community initiatives in Lawrence. Reporting to the Vice President of Lawrence Campus and Community Relations, this associate director role focuses on building partnerships, supporting engagement activities, and coordinating programming connected to the campus and the wider community. The position includes responsibility for community engagement efforts, communications support, and the coordination of international partnerships and exchanges. The role also contributes to campus-based programming that strengthens connections between the college, students, and community partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead external partnerships connected to the Lawrence campus – Support community engagement efforts and initiatives – Coordinate campus-based programming and activities – Provide community partnership leadership – Execute programs and events for the campus and community – Support international partnerships and international programs – Coordinate international exchanges and cultural immersion opportunities – Collaborate with college and community partners – Support campus engagement initiatives – Provide communications support related to campus and community activities REQUIREMENTS – Experience leading partnerships and engagement initiatives – Ability to coordinate programs, events, and community activities – Ability to support communications and collaborative initiatives – Experience working with community and college partners – Ability to coordinate international exchanges and partnerships WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This associate director position supports meaningful engagement between the campus and the surrounding community in Lawrence.
