OVERVIEW The Student Services Coordinator supports student well-being and success within the College of Business Administration at the University of Detroit Mercy. This position focuses on academic advising, student support, and coordination of processes related to enrollment and student services. The role includes working with graduate, undergraduate, international students, and dual enrollment students while collaborating with admissions and campus offices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide academic advising for graduate, undergraduate, international students, and dual enrollment students – Support student well-being and student success within the College of Business Administration – Resolve student issues related to academic and student services matters – Process advising-related documents – Interpret academic policies for students and campus stakeholders – Coordinate with admissions and other campus offices – Manage graduate assistant processes – Manage dual enrollment processes – Attend recruitment and education conferences – Support student organizations REQUIREMENTS – Experience or ability to provide academic advising – Ability to support graduate, undergraduate, international students, and dual enrollment students – Knowledge of interpreting academic policies – Ability to coordinate with admissions and campus offices – Ability to manage advising-related documents and student processes – Ability to support student organizations and attend recruitment activities WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student services professionals play an important role in helping students navigate academic processes and achieve their educational goals.
