OVERVIEW The Student Immigration Specialist at the Georgia Institute of Technology plays a central role in managing student and scholar immigration processes within a complex regulatory environment. This position focuses on ensuring institutional compliance with federal regulations while supporting the university’s international enrollment, employment, and engagement goals. The role combines regulatory administration, advising, and cross-campus collaboration to serve a diverse international population. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Administer all aspects of student and scholar visa programs. – Ensure compliance with federal immigration regulations. – Align immigration program administration with institutional priorities. – Support international enrollment activities. – Support international employment activities. – Advise international students and scholars on immigration matters. – Liaise with federal agencies. – Contribute to immigration-related policy development. – Contribute to cultural engagement programming.
