OVERVIEW The Admissions Officer role at New York University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) focuses on student recruitment, application evaluation, and enrollment support across undergraduate and graduate programs. Based in New York City, this position serves as a key representative of NYU SPS to prospective students, both on campus and at external recruitment events. The role blends student advising, outreach, and admissions review to help build a strong and qualified applicant pool. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Represent and market NYU School of Professional Studies to prospective students – Participate in on-campus and off-campus recruitment events – Cultivate relationships with prospective students to build a qualified application pipeline – Review and evaluate undergraduate and graduate applications – Advise students on application processes and program requirements – Assist with meeting enrollment targets REQUIREMENTS – Preferred experience evaluating international academic credentials for U.S. equivalency WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Admissions Officers play a central role in shaping the academic community by connecting prospective students with programs that align with their goals.
