This position coordinates the admissions and enrollment processes for new international students and for students for whom English is not a first language. Serves as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) for the college and issues all SEVIS documents and completes all SEVIS and Department of Homeland Security reporting requirements. Duties include evaluating international admission documentation, issuing Forms I-20, assisting international students with enrollment, determining English proficiency and ESL placement, communicating with applicants, preparing international student orientation, and planning cultural and community-building events.
