OVERVIEW The Local Coordinator – International Student Program role with ABC Education Group is a flexible, remote position supporting international high school students during their study experience in the United States. Local Coordinators play a central role in connecting students, host families, schools, and the wider community to ensure a safe and supportive placement. This position is based from home but requires residence near program locations in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, or Saddle River, New Jersey. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Recruit and support host families for international high school students – Supervise international students throughout their program stay – Serve as a liaison between students, host families, and local schools – Provide ongoing monitoring and advocacy to support student well-being and success – Conduct community outreach related to the International Student Program – Recruit and work with local volunteers involved in student support – Complete and submit required monthly reports REQUIREMENTS – Must reside in the United States – Must live near one of the program locations (Winston-Salem, North Carolina or Saddle River, New Jersey) – Ability to work remotely from home WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Local Coordinators are essential to the success of international student programs because they provide the on-the-ground support that ensures students are safe, supported, and able to thrive in a new cultural and educational environment.
