OVERVIEW Oasis Center is hiring a Prevention Specialist for the International Teen Outreach Program in Nashville, Tennessee. This role focuses on delivering prevention services for immigrant and refugee youth and families through schools and community partnerships. The position supports youth development through outreach, leadership activities, college access programming, and direct engagement with middle and high school students. The Prevention Specialist works closely with schools, families, and community partners to coordinate services and activities that strengthen youth engagement and support educational access. The role also includes documentation, referrals, and collaboration across programs serving diverse youth populations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide prevention services to immigrant and refugee youth and families – Coordinate youth development curriculum and related activities – Lead college access workshops for students – Support summer programming for youth – Organize leadership activities for middle and high school students – Conduct community outreach with schools and partner organizations – Deliver direct services to middle and high school students – Support family engagement efforts – Provide referrals and resource connections – Maintain data documentation and program records – Collaborate with schools and community partners REQUIREMENTS – Bachelor’s degree required – Two years of human services experience required – Bilingual English/Spanish preferred WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position supports prevention efforts that help immigrant and refugee youth build stronger educational and community connections.
