OVERVIEW This opportunity with AnB Education invites individuals and families in Hudson, Ohio, to host international high school exchange students from Asia, Europe, and South America. Host families play a central role in providing a stable and welcoming home environment while students attend local high schools during the program year. While this is not a paid position, it offers meaningful cross-cultural engagement and direct support for international student mobility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide a private or shared bedroom for an international high school exchange student – Provide regular meals as part of the household – Offer transportation for the student if needed – Create a welcoming and supportive home environment REQUIREMENTS – Willingness to host an international high school student between the ages of 15 and 18 – Ability to provide a bedroom and meals throughout the program year – Capacity to assist with transportation if required – Commitment to offering a safe and welcoming home environment – Understanding that there is no monetary compensation for hosting WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Host families are a cornerstone of successful international exchange programs, providing students with daily cultural immersion and personal support. By opening their homes, hosts help students adapt to a new education system, build intercultural understanding, and form lasting global connections. This role directly supports international education goals by fostering people-to-people exchange at the community level.
