OVERVIEW Ashland University is seeking an Admissions Representative for Undergraduate Admissions in Ashland, Ohio. This role supports prospective students and their parents throughout the enrollment process while helping strengthen connections between the college and future students. The position also coordinates travel and participation in fairs, supports campus engagement activities, and contributes to admissions communication efforts. The role combines student recruitment, event coordination, communication, and relationship management. Candidates should be comfortable representing the university in public settings, traveling regularly, and collaborating with campus offices and programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist prospective students and parents through the admissions and enrollment process – Recruit prospective students for undergraduate programs – Travel to high schools and college fairs – Coordinate fairs and travel activities for Undergraduate Admissions – Host virtual information programs – Assist with campus visits and visitor experiences – Serve as a liaison to campus programs and offices – Conduct presentations for prospective students and related audiences – Support enrollment reporting activities – Manage CRM communications through Slate REQUIREMENTS – Bachelor’s degree – Strong communication skills – Willingness to travel extensively – Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Admissions professionals play an important role in helping prospective students understand educational opportunities and navigate the college enrollment process.
