OVERVIEW This opportunity invites individuals and families in Riverdale, Georgia to serve as host families for international exchange students through AnB Education. By opening your home to a student aged 15 to 18, you support cross-cultural learning while helping a young person successfully study in the United States. The role focuses on providing a safe, welcoming environment rather than paid employment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Host an international exchange student in your home – Provide a bedroom for the student (the bedroom may be shared with a host sibling) – Provide three meals a day – Provide transportation to and from school when school buses are not available – Offer a welcoming family environment that supports cultural exchange and friendship REQUIREMENTS – Have a caring heart and an interest in supporting a young person – Have extra space in your home to accommodate a student – Be willing to host a student between the ages of 15 and 18 – Understand that there is no monetary compensation for hosting a J-1 exchange student WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Host families play a critical role in international education by creating a home environment where exchange students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By welcoming a student into your daily life, you contribute directly to cultural understanding and global connection at a personal level.
