OVERVIEW The International Student and Scholar Specialist at Georgia Gwinnett College supports international students and scholars throughout their academic journey at the college. This role focuses on advising, compliance, and services that help students navigate their student experience while meeting institutional and regulatory expectations. The position plays an important part in fostering a supportive and inclusive international environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide immigration advising to international students and scholars – Support SEVIS compliance related to international student and scholar records – Assist with orientation programming for international students – Develop and support cultural adjustment programming – Deliver international student services to support academic and personal success REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International students contribute significantly to the academic and cultural life of a college community.
